Best of Scottish Wedding Photography 2023 | Moments of Beauty

I say this every year, but it’s so hard to choose just a few favourites from a year of photographing weddings. So many moments happen, some of the moments stick out to me as the photographer; maybe the lighting was really cool, maybe I worked particularly hard to get the right shot, maybe it’s a really crazy instant that I skilfully managed to snap, maybe the moment was really emotional. So many of these moments happen at each wedding. Though they are not necessarily always the moments that burn the most strongly with the couples themselves - maybe there was a poignant moment with gran, maybe it’s auntie Jean’s hand resting on her dad’s shoulder, maybe it’s the chief bridesmaid falling spectacularly on the dancefloor. All the moments are important in different ways to different people. But they are all important.

And that’s why I love my job so much.
