Wow. Some wedding days just flow like a dream :-D
Lauren and Scot travelled all the way from the United States to celebrate their marriage in this beautiful Scottish Castle. With a mixture of Scottish and American family and friends the vibe was very chilled and very much about just enjoying the occasion. ‘Tears and teeth’ as I like to call it! ;-D
I can’t believe this was my first visit to Rowallan Castle - what a truly stunning venue. The mixture of rustic, traditional Scottish Castle vibes and wonderfully natural backdrop made it a pleasure to explore. Grand staircases, an oak-panelled ceremony room and chandeliers, mixed with rolling fields and one of the best bluebell covered vistas I’ve ever seen! Throw in a sun-swept day that avoids the forecast downpours and you have yourself one fine wedding setting. The night before this I had actually witnessed the Aurora Borealis for the first time ever (as so many others in the UK had). Quite the weekend!
